Who I am as a tattoo artist
I’m a tattoo artist based in Lexington, Kentucky, and I’ll soon be expanding to Louisville as well. I’ve been tattooing for a little over three years now if you include my apprenticeship, and I’ve gotten to work with a pretty wide variety of styles and ideas. I especially love doing western pieces, fine line work, florals, ornamental pieces, and anything inspired by Greek mythology. I really enjoy pieces that have a lot of detail or tell some kind of story. I’m pretty versatile and like being able to give people what they actually come in asking for instead of limiting myself to one specific style. American traditional isn’t really my thing, and lately I’ve been slowly working my way into realism and pushing myself with more detailed and realistic pieces. I’ve grown a lot since I first started, but I’m still constantly learning and figuring out what I’m capable of as an artist.

P.S. If you you'd like to see the travels or talk to me about any of that go follow my other Instagram, @kamayacprice. I also love following my clients on that account to see where my tattoos end up :)

Outside of tattooing, I’m honestly just a pretty normal 21-year-old trying to build a life I’m proud of and experience as much as I can along the way. I graduated from the University of Kentucky at 20 with my bachelor’s degree in accounting, which is pretty different from what I actually do for a living, but it’s still one of my biggest accomplishments and something I’m really proud of. Traveling is probably one of my favorite things outside of tattooing. I love seeing new countries, experiencing different cultures, and honestly just talking about travel in general. I’m always giving people advice, helping them figure out where to go or how to plan things, and somehow I’ve become the designated trip planner for multiple people haha. I’m also currently learning Spanish, which has been really fun and something I’m hoping to keep getting better at, especially with how much I love traveling. I’m pretty ambitious and always thinking about what I want to do next, whether that’s growing my career, planning my next trip, or honestly whatever random goal I decide to give myself next haha. I definitely don’t have everything figured out yet, but I’m enjoying figuring it out as I go and seeing where everything takes me.
